Grants

The Grants Department is responsible for submitting the required documents and applications for state and

federal funding made available to local governments for a wide variety of projects/programs. Areas of

responsibility include the fiscal and programmatic management of each grant award, the calculation of

payments and generation of financial reports and transactions and the coordination of project

implementation.

 

The Grants Department works with and secures grant funds for equipment, supplies, personnel and

services for Water/Sewer projects, the Sheriff’s Dept., Fire department, Emergency Management, Recycling

Dept., the Library, Parks and Recreation, the Detention Center, and the Economic Development Board on a

regular basis.

 

Grants are submitted to state and federal agencies to include HUD, FEMA, USDA. OJP, SCDPS, SCA GO,

DOT, DHEC. SCEMD, SCDOE, SCP ARD, SCORF, SCOR. SCRIA, SCDOC.
