We are accepting applications for Poll Managers and Poll Clerks to work early voting, primaries, and election days. All applicants will be reviewed by the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Clarendon County and voted upon to determine final approval before being called upon to train and serve in working the polls.

The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Clarendon County would like to welcome Robert Adams
as our new Director.

Due to hazardous conditions, the County Administration Building will operate on a delayed opening at 1 pm on Monday February 2nd 2026.

SECTION 12-45-180 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS PRESCRIBES THE PENALTY DATES FOR REAL ESTATE TAXES. THE NEXT PENALTY IS APPLIED ON TAX BILLS NOT PAID BEFORE THE 2ND DAY OF FEBRUARY – DUE TO THE FACT THAT TAXES MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 1 TO AVOID THIS PENALTY AND THAT DATE FALLS ON A SUNDAY – THE LAST DAY TO PAY WITHOUT PENALTY IS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2. 

Clarendon County Recycling Centers will be closed Sunday January 24th, 2026 and reopen Monday January 25th, 2026 at 7am and operate on their regular schedule
